A champagne wine maker in Aube
As a champagne wine maker in Aube, the Jean Laurent house has been producing quality Champagne wines for three generations in accordance with the terroir and traditional methods.
History of the Laurent House
The Laurent family is one of the oldest wine makers in the region. Their story is closely connected to Celles-Sur-Ource, a traditional village in Côte des Bar, in south Champagne.
Originally, Athanase Laurent settled in the village in 1850 as a Champagne producer, selling his product to trade companies. Generations went by but they kept their ancestors’ knowledge, traditional know-how and vine cultivation methods.
