YOUR CHAMPAGNE WINE GROWER ON THE CÔTE DES BARS

Winegrower in Champagne on the Côte des Bars in Aube, Maison Jean Laurent has been producing quality champagnes for three generations, respecting the terroir and traditional methods. Discover our history as well as our sales and export offers worldwide.

THE HISTORY OF MAISON LAURENT

The Laurent family is one of the oldest winegrowers in the region. Its history is linked to that of a small village in the Côte des Bar, south of Champagne, Celles-sur-Ource. Originally, Athanas Laurent settled there in 1850 as a producer of champagne, sold at the time to merchants. Generations have succeeded each other and have preserved the know-how, the traditions, as well as the methods of vine cultivation of their wine-growing ancestors.

THE VINEYARD

We ensure the sale of champagne from our own grape production. Located in Aube, our vineyard covers 16 hectares. It is made from the finest Champagne grape varieties:

  • Pinot Noir (70%)
  • Chardonnay (20%)
  • Pinot Blanc (10%)

This viticultural terroir, for more than 2,000 years, allows us to produce champagnes rich in maturity.

We work for a reasoned viticulture. We adapt the treatments of the vine according to the evolution of our plots, working with respect for the environment and biodiversity. Our goal is to ensure the ecological sustainability of our company.
